In this webinar, we’ll explore how to bring characters alive on the page through sensory, “whole-body” writing. Three-dimensional characters inhabit space through physical presence, experience the world through their senses, and feel and express emotion. Christine Walker

Christine Walker is a visual artist, author, strategic visioning facilitator, creative consultant, and teacher. She uses visual-thinking practices to develop curricula and teach writing craft through community literary programs, bookstores, and online.

Published in fiction, nonfiction, memoir, and children’s books, Christine is also the author of two books for Sibyl Writing Craft: A Writer’s Resolution: A Guided Journal for Realizing a Rewarding Writing Practice and the forthcoming Nine Ways: Writing Masterful Fiction and Memoir (2027).

Her Nine Ways approach was inspired by the philosophy of her MFA in Writing and Literature program at Bennington: “Read one hundred books. Write one.”
