She had the perfect life. Then someone dared her to risk it.
Macy Reardon has everything she thought she wanted: a handsome husband, two beautiful children, and a picture-perfect life in an affluent Los Angeles suburb. But beneath the polished surface, dissatisfaction is beginning to creep in—and a revelation about her marriage leaves Macy questioning the life she’s built.
Then her best friend, Juliette, introduces her to Melia, the magnetic and mysterious leader of an exclusive women’s social club with an irresistible premise: members dare one another to do the things they would never normally risk.
Macy starts small. A tattoo. A taste of rebellion. A chance to feel like someone other than a wife and mother.
But the dares quickly become more dangerous, drawing Macy into the orbit of a struggling young musician and deeper into a life fueled by secrecy, desire, and risk. As her carefully constructed world begins to unravel, the woman Macy once was becomes harder and harder to recognize.
How far will she go to feel alive again—and what will be left when she finally crosses the line?

Praise for Daredevil
“Lori Simone Hultin’s deep dive into a classic theme—the wronged wife driven to rediscover herself—comes imbued with sharp authenticity. Macy shocks even herself with one uncharacteristic act after another, all leading to unexpected twists and emotional consequences. Daredevil is a powerful read from a compelling storyteller.
