Laurie Ann Doyle

Laurie Ann Doyle is a two-time nominee for the Pushcart Prize and winner of the Alligator Juniper National Fiction Award. The New York Times bestselling author Edan Lepucki hailed her first book World Gone Missing: Stories for its “rich portrayals of people seeking connection, hope, and renewal, even when there is none to be found.”  Her historical novel, Light and Ash, will be published by Sibylline Press in April 2027. Laurie’s short stories and memoir pieces have appeared in McSweeny’s, Alta Journal, The Rumpus, Fourth Genre, The Los Angeles Review, among many other publications. She has been teaching creative writing since getting her MFA from the University of San Francisco in 2007 and is now an honored instructor with UC Berkeley Extension.
